It's finally reaching summer temps here in NYC, and I felt like it was about time to break out my fave summer go-to: the comfy tee.
The comfy tee is basically a worn-in t-shirt that fits just right and makes you feel fantastic - just like any great piece of fashion that may be hanging in your closet (or in this case, most likely folded in your dresser drawer...) It may not be your fanciest piece of clothing, but just like a familiar summer memory, it's comforting and reminds you of good times.
Above is my Jason Mraz concert tee from the Summer of '09 - it's bright, colorful and brings me back to that warm summer night, sitting outdoors at the Jones Beach Theater while swaying to his relaxing music in the ocean breeze. Ahhh! I love pairing this with a light sweater, jeans and flip flops for that perfect stroll on any given summer night.
